The Assisting Role in Acute Surgical Procedures

Location: Veterinær Akademiet Øst, Roskildevej 22, 2620 Albertslund

Participants will gain both practical and theoretical knowledge in the handling, stabilization, and preparation of critically ill patients, including conditions such as GDV, tracheostomy, placement of thoracic drains, feeding tubes, and central venous catheters.

The teaching combines theoretical instruction with hands-on practical exercises.

The aim of the course is to strengthen participants’ competencies, enabling them to contribute to fast, structured, and patient-safe treatment of acute patients in clinical practice.
