This two-day practical course focuses on the repair of simple fractures of the long bones in small dogs and cats. The course has been one of Eickemeyer Germany’s bestselling courses over the past decade and is designed to give veterinarians a solid introduction to basic fracture repair.
Through a combination of lectures and practical work, you will learn how to approach simple diaphyseal fractures and apply practical techniques that can be used in clinical practice.
The course is taught in English and is intended for veterinarians only.

The goal of the course is to prepare you to repair the simplest fractures of the long bones in small dogs and cats, even if you have no previous experience in this field. More experienced surgeons are also welcome to join and refine their techniques.
The course is mainly focused on practical work. During the practical sessions, participants will work in pairs. There will be six teams in total, allowing for close guidance throughout the course.
Day 1: Pelvic limb fractures
Day 2: Thoracic limb fractures
